Finding Naomi:
A Social Media Animated Series
Finding Naomi was the senior capstone project for my Digital Art and Media Design degree at Pennsylvania State University. The goal of this project was to create an animated series over the social media platforms TikTok and Instagram. The story was told through a mixture of animations, journal entries, and illustrated photos.

Thesis Statement
In recent years, we’ve seen the rise of short-form content over platforms such as TikTok and Instagram Reels. Only being a few years old, short-form media is still in relatively early stages, but it’s constantly evolving each passing day. Through this project, I aim to push the limitations of social media content to see its viability as a vehicle for animated stories.
